The new Knox City Council Fairpark Reserve facility will cater for greater recreational capabilities while boosting community engagement and being the home club for local netball and football teams.
Out of plain sight to visitors is an extensive solar and storage setup to support the facility’s sustainability goals and provide off-grid capabilities during blackout periods. The project specs include:
- 50 kW Trina 500 solar panels
- 60 kWh Redflow zinc battery
- 3 x 10 kWh Deye inverters
- 20 ms UPS backup!
